Acceptance and scope of use
These Customer Terms apply to your installation and use of Backlog Hygiene for Jira, an Atlassian Forge app published under the label Workaround.
By installing or using the app, you agree to these Customer Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
License
Limited right to use the app
Subject to these Customer Terms and any applicable Atlassian Marketplace purchase, billing, or subscription terms, Workaround grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use Backlog Hygiene for Jira with your Jira Cloud site for your internal business purposes.
Any Marketplace plan, billing, or subscription relationship is governed separately through Atlassian's applicable commercial terms.
Customer responsibilities
What you are responsible for
- The Jira projects, issues, and configuration you choose to expose to the app.
- The actions taken by your admins and authorized users inside the app.
- Using the app in compliance with Atlassian terms, applicable law, and your internal governance rules.
- Reviewing bulk-action changes before execution and validating that selected Jira users are authorized to perform them.
Restrictions
What you may not do
- Use the app unlawfully or in a way that violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to interfere with, disable, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the app or related systems.
- Use the app to transmit malicious code or conduct abusive automation.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the app to third parties except as permitted through your Atlassian Marketplace subscription and Jira site administration.
Atlassian dependency
The app depends on Atlassian services
Backlog Hygiene for Jira runs on Atlassian Forge and depends on Jira Cloud and Atlassian platform services. Functionality may be delayed, limited, or unavailable because of Atlassian maintenance, platform incidents, rate limiting, access controls, or API and product changes outside Workaround's control.

Changes and suspension
How the app and terms may change
Workaround may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue app features from time to time, including for security, legal, operational, or platform-compatibility reasons.
These Customer Terms may also be updated from time to time. The current version will be posted at the same public URL with an updated effective date.
Disclaimer
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Liability
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Workaround will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Workaround's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the app will not exceed the greater of the amounts paid for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100.
